I find the TechCrunch’s willingness to attribute these departures to the normal cycle of founder-done-good a bit disingenuous. The timing of Welch and Crystal’s departure benefits News Corp’s new leadership as much as it does the Photobucket founders, themselves.
And $300 million doesn’t suck.
