August 4th, 2009Photobucket Founders Moving On
August 3rd, 2009
I find the TechCrunch’s willingness to attribute these departures to the normal cycle of founder-done-good a bit disingenuous. The timing of Welch and Crystal’s departure benefits News Corp’s new leadership as much as it does the Photobucket founders, themselves.
And $300 million doesn’t suck.

August 2nd, 2009The move toward non-lethal weaponry should make us feel reassured, right?
The Shockwave is meant to “de-escalate/defuse violent crowd/riot situations,” although I have a feeling that if you Taser the first wave of a crowd, it might get a lot more rowdy…

And now, the deficit
August 2nd, 2009The U.S. economy is no longer on the edge of collapse, but Americans face tough choices in reducing the national deficit, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Sunday.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said Americans must have the will to help bring the deficit down.
His assessment following a week of upbeat economic indicators was echoed by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and others, but Republican critics countered the country was mortgaging its future economic stability.
As if these wankers care about excessive spending. Seen the past 8 years? Where was the outrage then?
